Jean Caby company, from SAINT ANDRE les LILLE, near Lille, joins the Société Bretonne de Salaisonen in 2003; the new group keeps the name of the Jean Caby group.
Smithfield Foods acquires Aoste from Sara Lee, in partnership with the Oaktree investment fund. Aoste and Jean Caby merge to firm the Aoste Group.
